At Huet, wood is much more than a material; it’s a passion that’s been passed down from generation to generation. Our history goes back to 1947, when Georges Huet founded Exploitation forestière, thus initiating our adventure in the world of wood. Since then, three generations have succeeded one another to make the Huet Group the leader in Belgium’s roundwood industry.

Our company is based on fundamental values: respect for the environment, quality, speed, customer satisfaction, and above all, the well-being of our team. We are proud to contribute to Wallonia’s economic development by working with numerous SMEs and promoting short supply chains.

Our commitment to quality is unwavering, from forest to production. We monitor every step of the process to ensure that our products meet the highest standards.

In 2017, Huet Bois in Manhay and Simon Bois in Bourcy joined forces to form the largest production capacity in the roundwood sector in the Benelux.

In 2023, the Group acquired Cornet a Hotton, strengthening our position as a roundwood specialist.

Our product range includes a vast selection of fence posts, stakes, graded timbers, retaining timbers, foundation piles, pilings, power line poles and much more. We are certified Local Wood and PEFCcertified, we are proud to contribute to the sustainable management of our forests.
